Trading Card Design

Creating the fictional character in Photoshop involves conceptualizing their personality, backstory, and role, then designing their appearance, clothing, and accessories to reflect their story. After gathering inspiration, the process begins by manipulating and combining images in Photoshop, defining major colour elements, and using tools like brushes and masking for shading, texture, and depth.

Once the character is rendered, final details, such as highlights and intricate textures, are added before integrating the character into a custom-designed playing card layout. Borders, titles, and thematic elements complete the design, followed by final adjustments for shadows, colors, and effects. The result is a unique character with a rich backstory, presented on a visually compelling playing card.
